NEWMOON MONTH SERVICES

Rosh Codesh! The Biblical Newmoon marks a new beginning; a new month and a new cycle with an invitation to Divine Worship!

“FROM ONE NEWMOON TO ANOTHER, AND FROM ONE SABBATH TO ANOTHER, ALL FLESH SHALL COME TO WORSHIP BEFORE ME, SAYS THE LORD” Isaiah 66:23

Beyond this, spiritually the Newmoon marks a seasons: “He set the moon the mark the appointed seasons” (Psalm 104:19). The Newmoon is God’s Global Clock Watch for His Holy Feast since creation. Before man was created God set the Bible Festivals with the moon to usher or announce each: “And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs to indicate seasons [Religious Festivals], days, and years” (Genesis 1:14)

Contrary to general perception that the Newmoon Festival, is Pagan Feast, it’s is actually a Holy Festival of God which predates man.

BURNT OFFERINGS

We believe and uphold God’s Divine Worship with the Bible instituted and stipulated ordinance of burnt offerings and sacrifices in humility, holiness and righteousness. With Christ officiating as our heavenly High Priest and Sanctifier of the earthly Levites, Our Priests and Levites are careful to consecrate themselves unto the LORD for this service: “Let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break through against them (Exodus 19:23)

Exodus 20:22-24 “Then the LORD said to Moses: Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, “You yourself have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven. You shall not make gods of silver alongside me or make gods for yourselves. YOU SHALL MAKE AN ALTAR OF EARTH FOR ME AND ON IT YOU SHALL SACRIFICE YOUR BURNT OFFERINGS AND YOUR PEACE OFFERINGS, YOUR SHEEP, AND YOUR OXEN. IN EVERY PLACE WHERE I CAUSE MY NAME TO BE HONOURED, I WILL COME TO YOU AND BLESS YOU”

Numbers 28:1-2 “And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: Command the Children of Israel and say to them: My Offering, My Bread for Sacrifices made by fire, as a pleasing aroma to me, you will guard to offer to me at their time…”

The LORD Altar of Burnt Offerings is relevant and key to every believer in every generation:

Exodus 29:41b-34 “…An Offering Made by Fire. This will be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you, to speak with you”

Jeremiah 33:17-22
[17]For this is what the LORD says: David will have a descendant sitting on the throne of Israel forever.
[18] AND THERE WILL ALWAYS BE LEVITICAL PRIESTS TO OFFER BURNT OFFERINGS AND GRAIN OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES TO me.”
[19]Then this message came to Jeremiah from the lord:
[20]“This is what the LORD says: If you can break my covenant with the day and the night so that one does not follow the other,
[21]only then will my covenant with my servant David be broken. Only then will he no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne. The same is true for my covenant with the Levitical priests who minister before me.
[22]And as the stars of the sky cannot be counted and the sand on the seashore cannot be measured, so I will multiply the descendants of my servant David and the Levites who minister before me.” (NLT)
